Founded in 2009, The Journey Program empowers cancer patients through exercise. What I’ve learned through countless video testimonial interviews with program graduates, is that they complete the program not only physically stronger, but mentally, too. Plus, the 10-week program is FREE for cancer patients thanks to donors of this Michigan small business!
Courtney Jerome Media produced a series of promotional videos for The Journey Program, as well as exercise videos cancer patients can download online if they’re unable to make it in to a class at one of their three locations: Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and Frankfort.
Marketing Goals: Appeal to cancer patients who are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, in remission, and/or up to two years post treatment and encourage them to participate in the free program.
Creative Strategy: Heartfelt storytelling with a Journey Program graduate in a Northern Michigan setting, representing the area the program is in.
Video Results: Increased website traffic for program registration and the promotional video reached 7,500% more people on Facebook than normal in less than one week’s time.
