Founded by Academy Award-winning director Michael Moore, the Traverse City Film Festival annually celebrates cinema in downtown Traverse City, Michigan. Films and filmmakers from around the world come together for director panels, movie screenings, film school and more during the Traverse City Film Festival.
Throughout the years, Courtney Jerome has been involved in TCFF in a variety of ways.
In 2016, Courtney wrote articles for their Filmgoer Magazine, featuring the State Theatre turning 100 and new changes to downtown since the 2015 festival. The articles were also published on MyNorth.com.
In 2017, Courtney’s video team recorded daily filmmakers panels and live broadcasted the Awards Ceremony on the last evening of the festival from downtown Traverse City. Plus, she taught a class at the Traverse City Film Festival’s Film School.
